Extensive work done to bring the car to a fine standard. Too much to list (see pics for info).
Car runs and drives beautifully. This vehicle has been cared for over the past 27 years.
The car was barely driven for the past 2 years. I purchased it from a neighbor that was moved into a retirement home. Upon purchase I took the car to a highly respected Volvo specialist. The car has been meticulously gone through.
Passed smog no problem. I have pink slip and current registration. Car is registered until 10/2019.
These cars are rapidly increasing increasing in value. You won't find a nicer Volvo in SoCal in its original condition.
Original paint condition 7/10 still has great shine. A couple of rock chips touched up with paint.
Interior also a 7/10 could use a shampoo on the seats. No rips a dime sized hole in one of the back seats.
189K miles approx. we drive the car to the beach and on the weekends.
Cruises comfortably at 75 MPH, great brakes and transmission is perfect.
Cons:
Has original radio but not connecting to speakers
Front bumper was scraped pic attached
AC fan works but not cold. Most likely compressor or may need a recharge.
Interior can use a professional detail.
I have put a ton of money into this car to make it right again. These 240's are known to go 500K miles.
I love this car but I am downsizing my collection of 9 cars. This is the surfers dream wagon, beach cruiser etc.
