This extremely rare Volvo adorned Volvo Headquarters when Jacques Nasser was CEO, while at the helm he decided to build his favorite vehicle and show it in the lobby of the building. At Automotive Group governed by Mr. Nasser, they owned Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo. History states that when Mr. Nasser left the company he naturally took the best car with him, which is this rare Volvo P1800E Automatic. (see photo of the car in the lobby of the offices - we have the original document which comes with the car)
1971 Volvo P1800E automatic with factory installed air conditioning. Like showroom new and very carefully maintained, the car is fantastic in every aspect. So many of these cars have been neglected to the point of no return, fortunately this car is not one of them. The interior - specially made in blue truly shows the beauty and class in this Volvo, Mr. Nassar chose the color combination and made it his way.
Service done to the vehicle - Oil change to full synthetic, New Battery and New Master Cylinder and Brake Calipers.
Needs - small paint chip on fender, re-chrome part of the rear bumper.
When Sir Roger Moore (the Saint) died Volvo had the car on their Facebook page which is how they first became aware of it's rarity. Volvo corporation has previously requested data and photos, if they are interested in purchasing the car then the auction will be stopped. The car is so special that it deserves to be in a museum collection like Volvo headquarters once again. If they don’t get back to us by the end of the auction and you have met the very fair reserve price then the car is yours.
