1983 Volvo 240 GLUp for sale is my 1983 Volvo 240 GL with original classic California blue plates.I pass on describing the high quality of these vehicles,since I beleive buyers of these cars have already knowledge of idependability,simplicity and durability of these vehicles.I bought the car several years ago from estate of an older lady who drove the car occasionally.Car was out of DMV system and not registered since before 1998.Car is native of California and never left the golden state( I would provide the buyer with those documents along with a copy of original old California pink sleep.) I registered the car recently and at this time there is no DMV fee due.Upon purchase based on my mechanic recommendations old gas was drained ou, system was cleaned muffler and catalytic converter were replaced,however I never used the car.Recently I drove the car about 200 miles to be able to describe that to the best of my knowledge.Tires were in excellent appearance but for the peace of mind I replaced all 4 of them since they were unused for such a long period.Front breakes are effective but not perfect .The technician who replaced the tires noticed the old breakes are the original factory ones so I decided the new owner replace them to keep record of that.Car comes with a compleat new set of front breakes ( rooters are included). Due to some people strange sets of standards I never use the term"new condition " but in this case it would be totally unfair if I dont call this car like new.It is like new,as a matter of fact the only way a car could remain in this condition is to be basically parked in a storage.Car runs extreamly smooth and suspension has feeling of a new car.Interior,seats,door panels headliner and carpet are like new and of course is 100% rust free.I haven't check the A/C but most likely needs to be refilled with nowdays refrigerant.Millage of 65000 is documented car fax would also be provided to the buyer.All gauges are functional and there is no leak at all.This 240 is the upgraded version equipped with more luxuries like working power windows and exceptionally sunroof which is not a common edition of those years production.Trunk is like new and the original factory books are included.Note: please be informed that I am not in a position to finance the car,I respect all the serious buyers who feel responsible to fulfill their commitment,however I disregard and eliminate all those bids which I don't beleive thair legitimacy.I gladly respond to any and all the questions you may have.Thanks for your attention
