Up for auction is a dearly loved 1965 Volvo P544 that has been restored.
The vehicle hasbeen professionally restored inside and out. The Volvo was driven and owned by a local doctor who passed away some time ago. It was sold and then stored for over 20 years in a private garage. Opportunity knocked and the car was purchased and it still ran after a fresh battery, then the restorationbegan.
The motor wasdisassembled and combed through with no major repairs, just a clean up, belts, plugs etc. The car was professionally disassembled and the interior was restored. Afterwards the body wasdisassembled and it was painted piece by piece. The paint work on the car was $7,200.00 alone. It has new tires and new braking system, brake lines, boosters, pads, etc. It also has a new windshield. The Car has no dents or any scratches, it has one minor chip on the driver side rain rail smaller than the end of a pencil eraser, but has been touched up. The Volvo runs great and is very peppy.It is powered by the original 4 cylinder engine with two S Ucarburetors.The car is road ready and currently driven to car shows and parkway drives. The winner of this Auction will alsoreceive a complete parts car, Body, engine, transmission and allas part of the auction. The parts car is in need of complete restoration and is Not Running or Road Ready. It is the winner's option if they would like the parts car or not but the price will not reduce if the parts car is not taken. SO... basically you are getting two cars for one price.These cars are getting Rare and the parts car is a great thing to have in the case of a fender bender.
I hate to let this little beauty go but I need the garage space. The car is sold as is and is notwarrantied. Upon completion of this auction, a deposit of $1,000.00 non-refundable, will be due within 48 Hours of end of auction payable through PayPal only. The car is offered as local pick up only and the buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements. The total balance due after the deposit for the Volvo is due within 7 Days of completion of the auction payable by Cash or Cashiers check In Person.
