1963 V.W. Karmann Ghia Convertible

1963 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

This Ghia was a barn find which had been sitting for approx 15 yrs or so what i was told. I picked it up for a good project because it still was a good solid car with good potential. So here are the details.
I was told that the top had just been replaced before it was parked, ow whether that is true or not remains to be seen, owever as you can see the top is in very good condition once i cleaned it up, ven the back window came back clear.
I got it back road worthy, put an alternator on it, ad the carbs 40/44 solex timed flushed the engine and trans. So let me list what i have done and haven't done
New engine rubber seal and tin.
rebuilt carbs, 0/44 solex
electric ignitor and coil, hich i will install tomorrow
new brake master cylinder
all four wheel cylinders and shoes
new wiring harness
new 75 watt alternator, still have the generator that was in it
new pioneer radio, ith infinity speakers
platinum spark plugs, ires
As you Karmann Ghia fan know if properly restored this vehicle is worth upwards of 30 to 40k
I do have the other seat, took it out to take the flooring out, n which i will do next month if the car do not sell.
Their is still a lot more to do in which i will keep picking away at it.
the rust issues are very minor however their are some spots that can be taken care of but do not affect the drive ability of the car
