We are selling a 1981 Volkswagen camper on a no reserve auction. This is a local camper that we acquired that is totally rust free. The mechanics of the vehicle is great - the camper runs and drives excellent with a nice smooth shifting transmission and a good responsive clutch. No exhaust smoke and no leaks and has a California emission certificate. The exterior of the camper needs a little work, ein, that the paint is original and showing wear and so could do with a complete paint job. There is also some body work needed on the sliding door and the right rear panel above the wheel. Nothing major. There are also a few touch ups on the body. The interior has been done where the seats have been upholstered and the door panels recovered. The dash has no cracks and shows well. Has an indash after market stereo . The interior carpet is in good shape. There are a few items missing which I do not have, hich is, he table and the foam rubber matresses. All in all this is a solid camper for someone looking to restore or just use it the way it is.
