1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle

1971 SUPER BEETLE SHOW QUALITY or DAILY DRIVER
This is a 1971 VW Super Beetle that has been completely restored to show condition by the 1995 IVWA show class points champion. The paint is "YELLOW RUSH". The engine has been completely rebuilt to insure that it would be a strong duel port motor (1600cc) matched up to a tight transmission. The transmission was flawlessly rebuilt by "The Wright Gearbox" of Riverside California. This car has theoriginalfloor pans and the car was and is RUST FREE!!!
The car has a new headliner (off-white), ew stock black seat covers, ew Gray carpet through-out the interior. The door panels have been returned to stock black with new window cranks. New custom made panel under the hood. New tires with stainless steel wheel bands, ew brakes (master cylinder, heel cylinders and lines). The bug has 2 (TWO) vent shades. Windows were removed and refitted with new rubber. It has a new rubber kit from front to rear. Seals air tight.
All in all, pproximately 550 or more hours of restoration went into this car. Fenders, oors, eck lid, nd hood were removed from the body and hand sanded, mperfections worked out, rimed, hen painted while off the body. The body of the car was treated the same way. It all came back together with new TOP OF THE LINE rubber!
My Father's goal for all of his cars that he restored is, hey must be better than when they came off the showroom floor.
The bug was driven on a 20 mile road test after being completed. EMAIL FOR MORE PICTURES! Like factory new!!!
