Car is garaged and kepts inside in his cozy garage.Let me introduce you to " Charlie " ( aka " Charlie Brown " )1990 Volkswagen VW Mk2 Jetta GL1.8l 4 cylinder Gas Engine5 speed 020 manual transmission152k miles2nd Owner - Clean Nebraska title in HAND.Fresh Timing bel, water pum, tires and accessory belt.Starts up and drives like it should. Few quirks - like power antenna does not work and windshield washers do not work.Window, sunroo, a, heat work as they should. The blend doors probably need a refoam sooner than later but it gets hot enough to keep ya toasty.Dealership Mechanic purchased it from original owner 2 years ago. Did custom " pinstriping " along side and Charlie on valve cover. He installed a newer stereo w/ cd player ( maybe bluetooth as wel, i did not actually look or try out the bluetooth ) Otherwise everything is else is OEM. Even though Charlie is not driven on a regular basis there is nothing that would prevent a road trip in the future.Charlie cleans up pretty nice but he does has some bumps / bruises. The trunk lid has an odd den, the rear license plate tub is broken above the passenger tail light and the rear corner of the rear bumper has a bump on it as well. The car has very little signs of rust on bottom of the driver fender but the car is not " RUSTY "He has Charlie for sale locally for a few weeks and here in Nebraska just not alot of Mk2 / Old school Volkswagen enthusiasts around so figured would give Ebay a try and just maybe Mk2 Jetta is on Santa's Good list and can treat themself to a classic car that are getting hard to find in this condition.In person inspections are encouraged. As mentione, car is only available for inspections by appointment for me or the owner to show it. $500 Non-refundable deposit due with in 24 hours.
