For your consideration is one SHARP 1967 VW Beetle that underwent a major refurbishment 2 years ago which brought it to the condition it is in today.The majority of the photos were taken 9/15/24.A real head turner and show piece. Runs, drives, steers and sounds great.Body taken apart and prepped for the beautiful finish you'll see in the many photos. Complete new upholstery including new front seats with headrests which tilt as well. Matching upholstery covering the original rear seat. Billet custom steering wheel.Empi shifter and custom wheel gas pedal.New windshield and door side glass as well as all new weatherstripping. Sound deadener, new charcoal colored carpeting.Wheels - Chrome plated alloy Porsche replicas; radial tires, 165/r15 front, 195/65R15 rear.Billet running boards as well as tripple plated chrome bumpers front and rear.Mechanical upgrades during the restoration as follows: New battery, new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, new upper and lower ball joints, seals, rear axle outer seals, carburetor rebuilt, new fuel pump, new fuel filter - now located under car for fire safety, new stainless steel header exhaust system which exits through the stock exhaust tip area. Has an adjustable front beam which was installed on the car when purchased.Engine - Runs great - nothing done to the newer dual port engine. Not sure of the actual cylinder bore size, etc.Solid floor pans - this car was undercoated including the fenders when new. Battery tray floor area was replaced. A light coating of 3M undercoating re-applied after body was painted to try to match original under coating. No hidden problem areas on floor pan - was repaired right.Turn signals, horn, lights, wipers all work. The emergency flashers do not come on ?? There was no radio present - delete plate added when car was painted which can be removed.
