1959 VW walk-through Kombi BusPatina body build but everything mechanical & electrical restored or new.Purchased in 1959, last registered in 1965. Was only on the road for 5 years before it was stored in 1965/66. Had 75k miles on clock when I got it, 85k now.**original title from when new in 1959 in-hand**- all new floors throughout- all new glass / windows- new doglegs- lower 3-6” of the doors rebuilt- new seats & upholstery by sewfine- EVERYTHING is new mechanically (new old stock drums, new shoes, brake lines, e-brake cables, reduction boxes resealed, front assembly resealed and greased, new gas tank, new fuel lines, all new fluids etc.)- new 1641 with a small cam- A1 sidewinder headers / A1 exhaust- drop spindles front (widefive)- lowered one notch rear- French’d yellow headlight glass from Germany- new old stock Hella glass tail light lenses- Wheels blasted / powder coated- all new window & door seals throughout- rear windows (except for the hatch) are all pop outs- staggered tires- custom made wake board removable table- New front door cards- Period / patina rear roof rackSo much has gone into this as I never thought I’d ever part with it.
