1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

1985 Volkswagen Westfalia, fully equipped camper van: two beds, stove, sink w/electric faucet, refrigerator.12K OBO, cash or money order preferred. I've tried to give an accurate depiction of the van flaws and all. It's been great to me for the last few years. It took me to NYC, Mexico, San Francisco and never left me stranded! If you have any questions feel free to ask!GoWesty 2200cc Engine:-60K miles (estimated)-Installed August 2011 at 220K chassis miles by Concourse Auto Werks in SLC-14 mpg-Runs well but it's by no means in perfect condition (see full list of issues below)Manual transmissionThe van's chassis has around 270K miles on it. This is an estimate as the odometer stopped working 09/23. Registered/titled in TexasNo accidents, just a few dings and some rust spots that are detailed in the photos.Tools and cookware included if you want them.Installed solar March 2020:-Two 50Ah LiFiPo GoWesty batteries run in parallel-180w 12V monocrystaline solar panel-Batteries also can be charged by the alternator-1200/2400 W Pure Sine power inverter-Charge controllerOriginal fridge deleted. Comes with a Dometic top-loading 45L fridge.Propane tank replaced November 2022.Heater runs off of propane supply. It’s kind of a primitive setup, but works well enough!Poorly installed sound system from the previous owner. It works but the speakers are ugly and the sound quality is subpar. I never bothered to replace them because I hardly listen to music while driving.I have a folder from the previous owner with receipts for all the shop work done dating from 2006ish to when I bought the van in 2019. Since then it has only been to the shop once to have the CV joints replaced. This was in May 2023. I have done a few minor repairs (replacing fuses, bulbs, fuel pump) but the van hasn't needed much!THE BAD STUFF:-Left headlight doesn't work using low beams, but does on high beams. I replaced the headlight and the issue persists... unfortunately I don't have time to find the cause.-The O2 sensor is disabled because when it's active the engine bucks/bogs. -Buzzy fuel pump. I replaced it with an OEM Bosch and the new one buzzes too. It doesn't seem to affect anything, fuel pressure/flow is good, but it's annoying.-As stated above, the odometer doesn't work. The speedo and tach work fine.-Cosmetic rust. Hopefully the pictures give an accurate idea.-No leaks but the weatherstripping in some places is worn.
