Here is your chance to own a rare piece of history!Volkswagen imported only about 25,000 VW Things, Type 181 to the United States in 1973 & 1974. This is an ORIGINAL/ONE owner vehicle.Everything is original to this car EXCEPT the paint. The original removable hard-top is in great condition.I have personally driven the vehicle and it starts, runs, shifts and stops as it should.The odometer stopped working at 26,459, but it is estimated that approximately 30,000 miles have been added since.The vehicle has a clean Florida title, and is located in Blairsville, GA. Also included is a tow bar.This is a very solid car, the passenger side door pillar and some other small areas have rust but no holes. It could also use new pans. The car is not ridden with holes at all, it seems to be surface rust, there is absolutely NO bondo in it.I have the original Product Catalogs and the Color Wiring Diagram as well.
