Our plans are changing and as much as we love this Bus, we have to sell her to make the next chapter of our lives feasible. This 1974 VW Bus Campmobile has been an absolute joy to own. She runs and shifts great! She always starts up, although if it’s especially cold it may take a couple tries. We have always stored her in a garage when not in use. The previous owners did the same. We’ve owned her since April 2021 and have thought of ourselves as her custodian, keeping up with her regular maintenance.
She had a transmission fluid leak when we bought her, which was attributed to a bad stator bushing. This was replaced and solved the leak issue. She also had a 2nd gear band that needed relining. The transmission was rebuilt in late 2023, and she’s running better than ever!
She has a dent in the driver’s side quarter panel (this was there when we bought her). There is NO CANCEROUS RUST, however there is cosmetic rust in the battery compartment.
We have used her gently over the past couple of years. We’ve driven to Buena Vista and Golden Gate Canyon State Park and camped in her several times here in Colorado.
Originally sold as new via a dealership in Pueblo, she’s always had owners here in Colorado.
We have a clean title with no lien.
