Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Up for bid is a 1972 VW Beetle Convertible. It shows 54946 miles but i cannot verify that it has rolled over. The car is pretty much the same as i bought it. The improvements that i made,  I replaced most of the chrome put a new top on it with a new liner and put coker tires on it. The past owner started the upgrade with new pans new brake system (disk front and rear) and a rebuilt engine replacing the clutch at that time. New carpets and new paint. I don't know when he completed the work he did. The paint has a few nicks but no dents, the brakes that he put on the car does not have the set up for an emergency brake.   (they can be replaced easily with one) The heater system is not hooked up. I looked at it a long time ago and decided that i don't need it since i was just driving in the summer. The channels are all good no cables but the heater boxes are in place. No visible rust. I put a new battery in it in the spring. I have never driven it or had it out in the rain. I'm selling as is where is. The buyer is responsible for any transportation cost but i will assist the carrier in any way i can. If it is a NYS buyer you can have the license plates that are on the car. I'm not a mechanic but don't believe that there are any mechanical issues. It drives smooth and shifts well. I require a $500 dollar deposit within 48 hours after sale. Balance due before pickup. Bank check money order or cash. If any questions i will answer them as honestly as possible.
