Vehicle Details
I am the second owner of this classic VW bus. The original owner kept it in his garage and used it for a weekend camping trips with his family. I bought it from him two years ago and have upgraded the following:
New leather seats in the front.
New clutch cable.
Two new CV axles.
New starter motor.
It runs great with the original engine and Bosch fuel injection.
It has a little bit of surface rust but it is not rotted out.
It drives excellent and the steering and brakes and engine and transmission and drive train run well.
The radio does not work.
The pop top tent is in good condition but has a couple areas where it has separated at the seams.
The backseats were recovered by the original owner years ago. The original fabric on the pop-up pad and our original.
This has been a very fun camper for us to enjoy on weekend trips up to the mountains and we even drove the going to the Sun Road in glacier national Park this year.
It is in amazingly great condition for an original bus.
