1966 Volkswagen Microbus deluxe

This 1966 13 window deluxe split bus was purchased for parts many years ago and it is being sold for parts. Vin#246069559 (see vin plate picture). The mileage is unknown. It does not run and has no installed engine. There are also some various mechanical parts inside. There is an engine in the bus, on the floor, that turns freely with the fly wheel and nut. I don’t believe it was the original engine, but was to serve as a spare. I didn’t see any # markings on the engine. There are also the following spare parts inside: a 2nd fly wheel, 4 generators with fans, 3 pulleys, 2 fuel pumps, 1 oil filler housing and 1 carburetor.
