1959 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1959 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. Original California car, which has been unregistered since 2016. Mileage exceeds the mechanical odometer limits as of 09/12/2015 and currently reflects 51952 miles. Original wheels, and the original roof rack with surface rust, can be easily restored. The car was last driven in 2017. The known is that it needs a battery, four tires, and a carb tune; therefore, it is not running or drivable. Beyond that, the work that has been done includes: at some point in the 1970s, the car was repainted its original color (Mignonette Green).In 2015 all of the mechanical, fuel, and electrical systems were completely gone through repaired/maintained $2000 was spent (receipts available). The original fuel tank was replaced with a used tank in good condition, and a new old stock pump was installed. The carburetor was completely rebuilt at the same time, and the reserve fuel valve was replaced. The engine was removed, and the oil cooler seals were replaced along with a clutch disc, throw-out bearing, engine compartment seal, and new transmission mounts installed. A new rear main oil seal and a new clutch cable were installed at the same time. A valve adjustment was performed along with an oil change. The hydraulic brake system was completely replaced, including a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, all new brake shoes, brake hoses, new bearings, seals, axle boots, brake drums turned, and a new brake switch installed. The wiper motor does not work. The interior needs a complete replacement, there is no frame damage, no Bondo, but there is a small dent on the passenger door that can easily be pulled out.
