1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Our 1967 VW has has a rebuilt engine and trans around 2000 miles ago. The interior has new door cards, sun visors, all carpeting and rubber replaced and sound deadening added. The tires are a few years old but in good condition. It comes with a nice car cover, new trim pieces. The seats are in decent condition but could use an upgrade in the near future. The exterior paint is in decent condition. New running boards and rubber covers. Headliner in very good condition, no sags. New Coco mats. New passenger side goose neck mirror. New frame to body rubber bushings. Has a new distributor that is a non point electronic type and a non vacuum EMPI carburetor. Halogen headlights. New speaker.
The 1967 VW is the first year for 12 volt and horse power increase from 50 HP to 53hp.. It was a one year only vehicle for certain parts. The car was repainted by my father in law and is decent but there is a major drip passenger side above rear window. shown in photo galery.
We are selling because we never drive it and feel it needs a good home. We recently had http://beissermotorwerks.com do a complete service and he found the VW in excellent condition mechanically. This VW has no sun roof opening, radio is AM band only but can be replaced with this companies Classic Auto Sound upgrade to a more modern radio an phone hook up.The car is garaged.
