Vehicle DetailsI have owned this VW Single Cab "Goldie" for the past 10 years as a farm truck to transport supplies and workers on our farms in Argentina. We have kept Goldie in fantastic condition and is very dependable. NOT Brazil made, but made with the original T2 dies shipped over from Germany when VW started the T3 model production. VW made less than 12,000 T2 buses in Argentina, mostly delivery panel vans, many of which were privately converted to people movers. Only 400 Single Cab Pickup Trucks were made in a 4 year period with T3 Doka bed gates made in Germany and shipped to Argentina for installation with the Argentina made body.
