Vehicle DetailsBrand new build 1968 custom roadster, this killer roadster has been a fun fun project however I build to sell. I bought the full body bug in Mesquite NV. From the dad of a college student that went off to school and left it with his dad to sell. The son had just installed a warranty remand engine however I don’t know the specs. There’s proof of the rebuild on a warranty tag see picture, the tag is designed to disappear if the engine ever got hot. Motor runs great. Hardly any miles on it. Steers easy and fine. Monroe air shocks in the front making it adjustable however it could use a control system. I replaced the master cylinder and brake cylinders . I chopped the top off and filled in the window channels. Body work was done and this is a very rust free car, it spent most of its life in Az. No rust issues. The real special thing about this car is it can be set up several ways to enjoy. You can have a full flared fender car with custom white birch running boards or no boards. You can run just the rear fenders with the chrome headlights, or you can run as a fenderless roadster. Several cars for the price of one. You simply unbolt the fenders . The rear roadster taillights are already mounted just change the quick connector from fender lights to roadster lights. The front chrome headlights will need to be bolted on with 2 pre bolts. Running boards are also very easy to install or remove. The tires are just so so. I don’t invest a bunch of money on wheels and tires because I don’t want to run my cost up thinking you might want something totally different. That way I let you put your touch on it. The interior is a simple overlay on the rear and the front are new.New wood custom steering wheel and a Hurst shifter.There has been a used flip up cd player and rear matching shelf with speakers and small sub installed since the pictures were taken. Other pictures available upon request. Being a new build you might have some minor tweeting to do to make it just as you might want . I am currently working on the lighting I have headlights and taillights right now just need to finish the turn and stop lights and quick connectors. The windshield is tinted now but not shown in the picture’s. Super cool colors. Base coat and clear coat.
