1960 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Half Cab/Truck

Up for auction is a 1960 Volkswagen Half Cab Truck Vanagon. Overall it is in very good condition for its age. Pictures show the exterior has lots of patina where the paint has faded through the primer and a small number of dents though out that can be fixed or left as is.The entire truck has been clear coated to keep what is left of the original paint and to preserve the patina and to prevent rust.The interior has been redone approximately 5 years ago and rewired to accommodate a 12 volt electrical system. The entire vehicle has been converted. The engine and transmission were rebuilt approximately 6000 miles ago. At that time the previous owner had put new tires on it.
The current owner is selling it since he had fun with the truck and is willing to part ways to get another vehicle.He had acquired this vehicle in 2018 and has serviced it as needed over the 5 year period of ownership. He drives it every now and then and definitely enjoys driving this piece of German history.
In 2021, He has serviced the following:At our Volkswagen specialist and was worked on by a shop by the name of Roth VintageHe basically went through the whole vehicle to make sure everything was tip top shape to run good.-Rear axle seal kit for swingaxle transmission-Replace rear drive axle seals-New rear brake shoes and install-New rear wheel cylinders and install-Adjust the shifter-Oil change and clean oil screen-Oil sump plate gasket kit-New 12 volt battery
