I am helping sell this super-cool, great-classic, 1968 VW Karmann Ghia coupe, to help settle an estate It has been stored in the family's dry barn for the last 30 years. It has only 55,715, original miles. It has a straight, rust-free body - finished in its original color - with very old paint. The interior is weathered with rips and tears. The trim is in overall good condition - with some pitting on the bumpers. It has one spot in the floor that was patched.
I was asked to get the car started. We pulled it out of the barn, put in fresh gas, a battery, oil in the cylinders and started it up. The 4-cylinder, 4-speed starts, runs, drives, shifts and brakes good for a car that has been sitting so long. It will need tires and the maintenance you would expect. Electrical work will have to be done to get everything working. We hosed the dirt off so you could see the quality of car you are bidding on.
I tried taking pictures of all angles so you can see just how good of a car this is. This is truly a great investment - climbing in value every year.
