Vehicle Details

This is a 1988 VW cabriolet with a golf GTI engine swap. Engine features forged Pistons and rods, 11:1 compression, 2.1L of displacement, long tube headers, 5th injector fuel system, ignition system was just rebuilt, runs great. 10,000 miles or less on the fully rebuilt engine. This car was built by Medlock racing in Seattle WA in the 1990s and won multiple car shows.

Last known mileage on the chassis was 34,000 since then the odometer stopped working but it has sat in storage and hasn't been driven much since then.

Whole chassis was disassembled and repainted professionally, stripe is painted on and is pearl white.

The car is on coilovers with eibach springs and Bilstein shocks, features 4 wheel disc brakes, wheels show some curb rash, tire tread is 80%

This is a desirable classic with lots of work put into it that just needs someone to finish the project.

This is a mechanically solid car with lots of performance parts and potential. Running driving car that starts every time. The car needs to be cleaned up and is a little rough around the edges but it is all little stuff.

Passenger door only opens from inside.

Power windows need wired up.

Body has some dents in it.

One of the top handles has been broken off.
