This no expense spared classic yet modern bug took two years to build. The heart of the build is the custom made to order Jake Raby type 4 engine dyno'd at197HP. Jake is no longer making custom built motors and this is one of his last custom builds. One year wait on this motor alone. Matched to a bespoke ultra heavy duty type one transmission by Matt Steedle transmissions. Bus axles and CV joints, 4-wheel disc brakes, Porsche Boxster rims, Porsche custom leather steering wheel. Painted BMW Olivine Green Metallic (pewter) with matching grey interior and canvas top. Comfortable Pontiac Fiero seats with headrest speakers recovered in TMI reproduction VW basketweave vinyl. Leather dash, push to start button, bluetooth stereo, heated seats, Gilmore air conditioner and more. Second place 2022 Florida Bug Jam superbeetle full custom. 350 miles currently on this build.
