1973 Volkswagen Thing Convertible

Hi, I have a very special Volkswagen Thing that has received a lot of love in the last few years. With the purchase of this beautifully unique VW Thing you are not just buying a car, you are buying the wonderful vibe that it exudes, as well as countless conversations it will spark. Over the last year or so I have had the engine out and rebuilt with a mild CAM, it is reliable and does not leak oil. I lowered it and added custom wheels for an awesome look, The top is about 6 months old and of good quality from The Thing Shop. The stereo is a JVC with a custom built speaker box that houses 4 Kicker 6x9's and a downward facing 15 inch subwoofer with a 1000w amplifier. This system is perfect for blasting Reggae or whatever music you love. Please check out the pictures so everyone is happy, there is rust. This Thing was rescued from a property in New Mexico where it sat for a long time, it comes now with a clean California title in my name. I regularly drive(almost daily) it on the 99 freeway and have zero trouble keeping up with traffic. The speedometer and fuel gauges are inoperable currently. I added bright LED headlights and for fun I added crazy under glow lights that are a hit on cruise night. I recommend this vehicle to someone that likes to show up different, has their own style, and who enjoys a little art in their automobiles.
