1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Last year for these German-built cars in the U.S. and they are becoming increasingly collectible. If you already know these cars, you?ll appreciate that this one is not perfect, not a show car, but a very nice daily driver. It?s fuel-injected, four-cylinders, hydraulic lifters, with a manual four-speed transmission and runs well, although it hasn?t been driven (except very infrequently) in a couple of years. Could use alignment, but the tires are new, there?s no rust and the paint is quite good. It?s been sitting awhile (and it sits a lot since it?s my wife?s car and she won?t drive it in the rain ? or on the freeway) but the car has been kept on a battery tender in a garage. Needs a good cleaning/detailing to be ready to roll for the summer. Put the top down and live a little. Sold AS-IS. No warranty. I will try to answer any questions you might have.
