Vehicle Details1976 Volkswagen Beetle - This is a super nice classic VW Beetle with sunroof. It was a daily driver (except in the winter) in the early 1990s but has been garaged for 30+ years. I am the second owner and I bought it in 1988. It was waxed last year, the rims were painted, new tires - windshield, side windows and rear window gaskets changed earlier. The fuel injection was changed to carburetor and electric fuel pump. It has the original interior (one wear place on driver's side), a new headliner and the carpets were replaced. It is mechanically sound, starts easily and drives well. No oil leaks. Normal rust for the age of the car. New fuel tank. Good floor pans. All lights and wipers work. Aluminum running boards. New sun visors. Reason for selling: no more space in my garage! I have two other Volkswagen vans and am restoring a 1939 Dodge Pickup so I need space. Price says 'best offer' - I have been offered $6,000 locally so offers over that will be considered.
