This is a nicely restored 1968 Meyers Manx Authenticated Original Body mounted to a shortened 1955 VW Beetle pan. Titled as 1955.I have owned the car for years and torn it down to the pan a year ago. NO RUST, chassis was sprayed with a fiberglass embedded paint product (hence the textured finish).
Paint: Beautiful Candied Sunburst Orange. It is a custom color with the largest metallic we could find. Truly amazing in person in the sun.
Brakes: Still has the original drum brakes all the way around. Has NEW Dual Circuit Master Cylinder and all new lines with Stainless woven soft lines. Added a proportioning value for the rear system. Also has rear individual brake lock for quick turns.
Engine: Professionally Built ALL NEW 1914cc 110hp Dual Carb engine, fully chromed. No rebuilt or used parts. including clutch and disc.
Tires: Zero mile ALL NEW wheels and tires. White Baja Style wheels with Hoosier tires. 11.5" tires in the rear and 7" in the front.
Lights: New Complete headlights and front turn signals. Rear are original and new License plate lens
Has original Windshield Wiper assembly, gauges and steering column included.
What it needs: Currently finishing COMPETELY NEW WIRING. Exhaust system (everyone has their favorite style), Steering wheel (have the Grant that came on it) and that is it.
