Up for sale is our restored ICONICred/white1965 Volkswagen Camper along with a wealth ofspare parts! Garage keptits entire life and in beautiful running condition. Fully restored! Very rarecollectors item. Made in Germany.

This iconic item draws crowds, gets super attention and compliments where ever she goes. Engine runs wonderfully. Split windshield,front sliding windows, one-panel front side windows, glass covered headlights, sunroof, beautiful paint. It has the complete original camping interior installed by Sundial a Southern Californian company. Garage kept and worked on for the last fifteen years.

History:This camper was originally owned by a Californian police officer 1965-1975 and then moved to Seattle where it was sold to an Icelandic aircraft mechanic in 1981. He took iton a road trip from Seattle to New York, from where it was shipped to Iceland in 1982. It was then bought by its current owner and has been in the same family ever since and has done some travel around Iceland. The last owner was also an aircraft mechanic and restoring this van was his lifetime hobby. It has been garage kept its entire life and maintained with skill, care and endless enthusiasm.

Original Sundial interior.All interior is original except for tabletops which have been replaced. It features walkthrough access, a fold down seat/bed, refrigerator, water pump, fold up/down tables, drawers, cabinets and storage space. All seats recently upholstered and in very good condition. New carpet. All interior wood panels in good condition. All glass is clean and without cosmetic issues except for one crack in front window. Window screen and sunroof screen replaced in 1980. Original Red Emergency/Hazard knob in place.
