This is a 1966 21 Window VW Bus for sale. This 21 Window Samba is one I own myself and it undergone restoration to the point shown at the top of the photos below. There are progress photos below the current state which can be distinguesed in grey primer/sealer. This is a great state to pick up a project as the next owner can finish the body work and choose interior and paint colors to get the exact Bus of their dreams.

You can expect to pay upwards of $20k-$40k for a rusty project 21 window needing tens of thousands in metal work. (I've put out nearly $10k just in replacement metal, not including the even more expensive portion of months of labor needed to install it.) Not only does the Buy-it-now option for this Bus represent savings verses buying a project and paying to have extensive metal work done (VW Bus projects all seem to need at least the bottom 6" replaced), you will also jump ahead many, many months in the restoration process! Most body shops have a year or longer waiting list, but some body shops are willing to sneak in a project if it just requires mostly body work and paint work.

The front seat configuration is set up for seporate bucket seats with a pathway between which enables the driver to "walk through" to the back seat of the VW Bus (this is referred to as a walk-through option). The original factory colors on this example are Sea Blue / Cumulous White.

I have offered many VW Buses for sale to satisfied customers around the World. In just 2015 alone I sold three completely restored Samba Deluxe VW Buses, and the last 21 Window VW Bus I sold brought $145,000.
