1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This is a very nice 1971 Customized Volkswagen Beetle, built for smiles that has been chopped as well as shortened. I was told that over $8,000 was invested in this back when it was done.It gets a lot of looks everywhere it goes. Always garaged/in storage when not driven. There is A LOT of time and money spent on this car. This car belongs to a friend of mine and I am helping him sell it.
***Please read the entire ad before bidding!***
This is a very solid Beetle and has a strong running 1600cc single port engine that does not smoke or burn oil.Prior owner told us that the motor was rebuilt back in 2013. It's mechanically sound.Wheels and tires are excellent. The car runs great and shifts through all the gears well.
A brand new battery installed in January 2020. All the lights work, including the amber fog lights. Floor pansare near perfect and the rockers are excellent. See link of photos below.
Measurements:From top of front tires to back of rear tires: 95"142" from back of the exhaust tail pipes to the front bumper64" wide
I have over 40+ Photos in the link below and as well as a video of the car and engine running.

Check my 100% feedback score. I strive to be upfront and honest, as if I were the one buying a car online. Please note that, pictures always look better than in person, on anything. I try to represent the very best I can, and that's why I am showing 40+ more photos in the link below, as well as a video of it. Please don't expect a $25,000 VW Beetle and you will be pleased. This is a near 50 year old VINTAGE Volkswagen. It's a antique! Don't expect a brand new car please. The paint is good, but has a few paint chips here and there and some peeling. It was painted about 12 years ago. Our asking price is very fair and the highest bidder will take it home! There is NO RESERVE.
If you have LESS than TEN FEEDBACK on hereOR a new member less than 3 months, please MESSAGE me before bidding, or your bid will be rejected and cancelled by the seller. In the past few transactions, I have had a very hard time with new bidders who don't follow through and are not serious. Please message me prior to bidding if you are a new user, or have less than 10 feedback.
*The car has an active GEORGIAregistration, please note that Georgia is NOT a title state for cars of this vintage, so there is no title. A copy of the registration and a bill of sale will beprovidedto the new owner.
