Hello and thanks for stopping in to our auction. This is a beautiful frame off restoration and she is ready for her new owner to drive and enjoy trouble free. I will say as much as possible in as few words, for the serious buyer it is best to reach out to me direct and we can have a nice chat. Your oval ragtop has been restored over several years, with pain staking detail to locate the correct parts needed. This is a fresh restoration with less than 50 miles. The generator appears original however the system has been upgraded to 12 volts making things operate much better than they did in 1957. All of the lighting works perfect including the dome lamp and door switch. The steering wheel horn button assembly and turn signal lever work perfectly. The transmission has been completely rebuilt including all of the clutch parts. Brakes are 100% new, every wheel cylinder, every hose, every brake shoe, every spring, all are new and she stops without any pull. A dream to drive, suspension rides nice and tight, power of the motor is smooth and quiet. You can't go anywhere without people stopping to talk, honking and giving you the thumbs up.Engine: original 1100cc, complete rebuild, new pistons, rings, cylinders, everything professional redone and there are zero oil leaks, not a drop. She fires right up nice and cold, idles smoothly, and is ready to go in a few minutes. So many classics are impossible to operate, your oval can be driven as much as you desire trouble free. What a dream.
Her paint in person is very deep, a nice shade of green with a nice luster. Hard to describe paint work in words, there are no funny overspray places or sanding marks or imperfections. Looks very nice and of great quality. Nicest oval in this price range on the internet.
Some things to disclose:The choke cable does not functionThere is a cracked spot in the paint on the deck lid above the license plate light. Serious buyers we can talk about that in great detail and take as many photos as you desire.Sometimes the doors stick a little as you might expect on a car of this vintage.
