Up for sale with No Reserve is this classic Wolfsburg Beetle that was parked with 87K miles with the intention of doing a complete restoration. The mechanic who began the work is unable to finish so we are offering the disassembled vehicle for another Volkswagen enthusiast to complete the project. Thevehicle was running fine with 87K miles and seemed like a good candidate to restore. It was a good driver, running on new Kumho tires (see photo). The 1959 Bugs from Wolfsburg still featured the Semaphore turn signals but ours is missing the wands that drop down.
As can be seen in the photos, the car was completely taken apart and sanded to bare metal. All of the original parts are there "bagged & tagged" along with new items including new bumpers, running boards, carpet and many miscellaneous trim pieces.This VW has a clear WV title in my name ready to transfer to the new owner.
We have tried to show everything we can in the photos including the areas where rust through has occurred.The vehicle is stored in a garage in Fairmont WV 26554 with easy access to I-79. We are listing the vehicle as "local pick up only" but we will cooperate with your shipper to facilitate pick up.
