1964 Volkswagen Manx Style
------------No reserve -- No reserve -- No reserve ----------------------------
You are bidding to win this car!!!!
There is no "buy it now" pric, please don't ask! You are bidding to own it!
ALL other Manx VWs on Ebay right now have a reserve price or a ridiculously high "buy it now" price. Not this one. If you are the highest bidder you own the car.
1965 Meyers Manx Tribute!!!!!!!!!! This is a Very accurate Meyers Manx Tribute car (not a real Manx) this body is one of the best clones around and had to be verified that it was not a real Meyers Manx By Bruce and Winnie Meyers personally because it was so accurate. The fiber glass is hand laid and thick. it has a tubular steel dash support. it has the two tubular rear box supports. it has the two shock mount supports. it has the spare tire space and battery molded in. it has the two-piece dash it has the hood bump correct and correct style front bumper. it has glassed in body supports. the list goes on.
Be the only one in your city to own a rare classic like this. Everyone looks at this car everywhere I take it. Everyone knows this very Iconic body and the familiar vw engine roar and falls in love with it.
I have had this car for a little over a year and the clear Texas Title is in my name. This car has more power than most vw engines with a two barrel high performance Weber 32/36 dgb carburetor and newly rebuilt dual port engine. All the gears work on the transmission and the rebuilt engine has about 10 Miles on it. The steering is tight and the car rides smoothly. the buggy also comes with its own TOW BAR.
This car starts very easily. runs. drives and stops with great response for a VW. I have owned many vws and this one has excellent brakes because The entire Brake system was replaced. Front seats are entirely brand new. The pan was shortened and both sides have square tube reinforcement on the entire left and right side of the pans. Both floors have been have been completely replaced with 16 gauge metal welded in (see pic)
The horn, turn signals, brake lights, headlights lights all work. the Oil pressure light and alternator light all work and shut off when the car is started showing the system is charging properly and has excellent oil pressure.

This is not a show car, it has some imperfections in the paint, possible blemishes and may need final tuning to get it to the way you like it. The car is almost 55 years old. I have driven it about 10 miles down the street and to the gas station several times to test things out. People are always looking at it and it is super fun to be in the driver's seat with the wind in your hair. $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction and full payment is due within one week.
