1963 VOLKSWAGEN DOUBLE DOOR PANEL FIRE BUS !!!
This car was an official emergency vehicle in the the city of Wuppertal, Germany.
It was decommissioned in 1983 and has since been a collector car - imported into California in 2010.
European specifications: km speedometer and bulb headlights.
Feuerwehr specifications: emergency light / switch, hose rack base, 5 fire extinguisher holders and locking ignition switch.
Original 6 volt system.
Great patina from it's service in the fire department - if it could only talk!
Had motor gone through in 2013 - been stored ever since.
Excellent small project car as it justneeds a basic vintage car maintenance go-through (as it has been sitting awhile) and it is good to go!
