1971 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

We are happy to offer our beautiful award winning 1971 VW Tin Top WESTFALIA Camper Bus in a Coca Cola theme. We purchased this bus in 2015 from the person doing the frame off restoration. We themed it in aCoca Cola theme. One picture shows the bus at a VW show. Not all of the exterior items will go with the bus and all interior items will stay as shown in the other pictures. We are only selling due to retirement and have enjoyed this wonderful bus for four years. It has been garage kept since purchasing and is exceptionally clean. It's not perfect but has been very dependable.
The gentleman we purchased the bus from that did the restoration purchased the bus from someone in California. We have included a few pictures during the restoration process. The bus is painted in Chianti Red. The engine is a 1600cc and was rebuilt at the time we purchased it. The bus is 12 volt system. The bus has new upholstery, parcel tray, dash mat, leather wheel cover, unique stick shift knob, wooden floors and ceiling as well as door panels and kick panels. We also added white mud flaps, seat belts, new engine compartment upper lining, new hub caps, batter hold down, new tail pipe, new passenger side vent window. We have receipts for over $3500 in upgrades and improvements. New distributor, door seals, ignition switch, new rubber mat under the front seats, new upper and lower ball joint, swing lever kit, drag link, rear wheel cylinder, rear brake shoes, front brake pads a d flushed the brake system. Installed new heavy duty shocks, shift coupler, clutch cable, accelerator cable, power auxiliary outlet, new front turn signal lens, front door handle assembly and oil strainer gasket set and more.
The bus has nice tires and all new upholstery. There is a dash mat and the dash has minor crack. The rear bump has some dimples. We purchased and will include bumper guards. We did not install was going to change the bumpers and ran out of time. We installed eye brows on the front headlights. Front has rubber mat and carpet over. We relocated the fuel line out of the engine compartment to under the bus. The bus has no radio. It has original sink & Ice box combo. Table, bed, cabinets, jump seat, nice wood rear floor and wooden casing.
The bus has a clean Texas title and is available for local pickup in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Please take a look at all the pictures as they are a big part of the description.
