1970 Volkswagen typeIII notchback 1600 L automatic good solid car that runs and drives a lot of work has been previously done unfortunately the previous owner cut corners and didn't do it right, car needs floor pans and metal work mostly on the front / trunk area floor pans have rust rot trough mostly driver side needs front pane, it has foam and tape to cover the rusted panels as well of a cheap metal patches,rockers are very solid but need attention as well .It was painted at some point but paint job is poorly done it has paint drips scratches et, right side fender is not properly aligned and neither is the hood missing a piece of metal .
Engine looks like it was rebuild it has new carburetor set up coil etc, new brake calipers and brake hoses . Gas tank looks new as well
Under the dash it has a lot of wires loose and hanging and blinkers don't wor, Electric system and wiring needs to be looked at as well.

Again car looks very good but in need of lots of Attentio, it looks like it was poorly attempted to be restored good thing it that is was preserved and it's a great candidate for restoration.
Or drive as is and fix as you use i, honestly the car is rare and deserves to be restored.
