1985 VW Westfalia Camper Van for sale Price: $16900 We are looking to sell our 1985 Westfalia pop top 4 spd manual camper Vanagon! We are very sad to part with her but have just bought land and need the money to build a cabin. The Butterfly Express (aka BE Bus as we've called it) has been reworked and is in fantastic condition as our local VW mechanic in Staunton, can attest to and easily taking on interstate speeds as well as country roads. I have all of the paperwork and would be happy to share his contact number with anyone who's seriously interested. We bought her locally from a guy who had her for 15 years, traveling to and from work with her, when we got her in April 2017. The mileage was just over 189 K miles; now the odometer is stuck but we've put at the very most 1,500 miles on her, staying close to home for camping adventures. He kept her in a garage when he wasn't using her and took immaculate care of her, as have we. After purchase, we paid to have her totally updated and fixed up for taking cross country (including a brand new pop top canvas installed) but then decided to stick close to home and look for a place to put our roots down. We also got the kitchen checked and a new used propane tank installed and filled. The kitchen is ready to roll! She comes with a total of 12 wheels, including the spare and 4 snow tires, all with good strong VW rims. The CD player stopped working but the radio and Kenwood speakers are good. There is some expected rusting on the body but nothing major at all; she's in great condition, including the interior. She has been well loved. Also included is a fabric bug screen that attaches/snaps to the very back for camping on hot nights with back hatch open (back hatch door needs a prop since it slowly closes then slams shut). There is an extra bed above the fold out bed below, plus two table size options and swiveling front seats. The curtains are in great condition and all the snaps are functioning.
