For sale is a nice camper ready to hit the road right now! It has a modern diesel TDI conversion. The engine originally came out of a well-maintained 98 Jetta The engine has great power and a hybrid turbo gt1749vt, ALH fuel system and ECM. The van has many upgrades Including BMW brake booster upgrade, new radiator, stainless steel coolant lines, fuel tank. Mechanically very sound, the transmission has upgraded 3rd&4th gear and slider, this brings down the RPMs to better suit the Diesel engine and it gets around 30 MPGs! With working cruise control, road trips no longer wear out that right foot, it's so much more comfortable and air conditioning too. The camper portion is in very good working condition. Stove, refrigerator, beds, cabinets and tent all ready for use and in great shape . New tires on 15 inch rims. The conversion was done very well and has been proven with over 50000 miles on the van since. All maintenance has been completed within the last couple hundred miles including the timing belt replacement.
