1961 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Standard

Up for auction is the "Real Deal".... A 1961VWWalk-Thru Bus in Mango/Grey exterior with a caramel/off white interior- 8 passenger. I bought this bus from a body shop in Staatsburg, NY 3.5 years ago. It was ready for paint at the time of purchase and it had a new 1600 DP/dual carburetor motor in it from www.wrightgearbox.com.
The following was completed and is documented:

• Rebuilt VW 4 speed bus transaxle from www.wrightgearbox.com
• New drum brakes and brake lines including hand brake
• New shocks at all corners
• Adjusted to torsion plates to stock ride height
• Wolfgang polished stainless safari windows
• Wolfgang stainless pop out windows with long spoon chrome hinges (factory option)
• Reproduction seat frames front-middle rear
• Sewfine complete interior seating and door panels in caramel/off white (original combination)
• Reproduction VW steering wheel with original Wolfsburg horn cap
• Fully refurbished VW speedometer dated 10/1960 with "00001 miles" on the odometer and LED lights
• Powdercoated VW smoothie wheels 15x5 w/VW chrome hubcaps
• New Wolfsburg West reproduction headlights and seals
• New rubber seals throughout

Lost of looks and thumbs up. A blast to drive. Starts right up! Lots of time and money invested.My loss is your gain but it is time to sell this beauty.
