Hello, you are bidding on a 1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet 5 spd Manual. Hate to sell but no longer have the time and interest. This has been a great reliable car and hasn't given me any problems. These are getting harder and harder to find in any decent condition. So here she is, white on white vw cabrio. Body is straight and floor is solid. There are couple spots of surface rust just starting seen in the photo's. Two spots under the windshiel, one on the trunk lid and one more starting around the drivers door handle. All shown clearly in the photo', doesn't look to be serious but will need repair eventually. The floor is solid and the front shock hats are clean, a common issue for vw's. The top has several tears, i have a new black cloth top that comes with the car. She has several aftermarket goodies including a Techtonics 288 Cam. Gives a choppy idle but pulls strong to 8,000 rpm. Also a borla exhaust, not loud at all and doesn't drone on the highway. Suspension is V maxx coilovers sitting on Enkei Apache II wheels. Have not driven much this season but she has been well maintained with regular oilchanges. The brakes are goo, tires will need replacing soon. I noticed the last oil change the valve cover was seepin, i have new gaskets that will go with the car. And last but not least the last time i drove her the cluster was working on and off, probably a loose connection but i'm not sure. I have done my best to list this vehicle accurately and to the best of my knowledge however i am not a mechanic. Please ask all questions before bidding.
