1984 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

1984 two-tone brown VW Vanagon for sale in Huntsville Alabama. This is a good running Transporter water-boxer Vanagon and is much more desirable being that it is a 4-speed manual transmission. These VW vans have power and they are a pleasure to drive. Only selling because I have other vehicles that I am more concerned with.
Buyer must pick up in Huntsville with trailer or the gear shifter linkage kit to fix the gear shifter on the spot and drive it home.
On Jun-05-18 at 17:11:37 PDT, seller added the following information:

It is missing passenger side mirror, insulation in the front was removed by me but I still have the carpet. Windshield is cracked, missing 1hubcap, front seat arm is ripped off. Back tire is flat and ripped so it will need a new 14” tire. The hatchback door hydraulics don’t work so I have to put a 4x4 under it to hold it up, radio cassette player doesn’t work but the speakers do. Odometer stopped at 80,000 PO said it had about 125,000 when he sold it to me. I imagine it no more than 175,000 with me driving it till now. Steering wheel plastic thing broke, it cranks with cold start but doesn’t want to crank when it’s warm...seems to be flooding itself so I have to wait 30 minutes for it to be able to start again.

I have over 600.00$’s retail worth of parts I never installed and will include them if someone selects the Buy it Now price. Otherwise, with bidding only, you can buy your own parts to rebuild the front end and I will sell these separate. These parts are the following:

1.Van Cafe full-front end bushing set

2.T3 Technique poly steering bushing and transmission bushing

3. 4x Moog ball joints for upper and lower.

All these parts are brand new in the packaging. I know the front right needs it (bushing is smashed).
