1990 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia Camper

It's time to re-live some memories or make some new ones in this 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper. It's a turnkey classic camper that's just begging for a road trip. If you're looking at this van, you better be prepared to make some new friends. That's because the VW Vanagon is the more powerful, larger, and nimbler successor to the iconic VW Bus. And that spirit lives on thanks to its unmistakable silhouette. So there is plenty of character and... camaraderie of ownership. It only gets better with a genuine camper built by VW's official conversion specialist Westfalia. The deep cobalt-like shade of blue, blue tinted windows, and factory alloys give this icon a very modern look. And while this one has been out camping under the starry nights, you can tell it has always been treated with good care. The driver gets all the right comforts with high-back gray cloth bucket seat. It has good bolstering and armrests to make sure it's long-haul comfortable. Plus, there's a large steering wheel, a gearshift within easy reach, and a nice upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo for entertainment. There are also provisions for air conditioning as well as power windows. But the true luxuries are all behind this. You're looking at Westfalia's premium edition, and so it has all the domestic upgrades like a fridge, stove, and sink. It has a fold-out table, and the rear bench turns into a bed. Also, as a true Westfalia, it has the iconic pop-up roof for comfortable camping. Besides being larger than a VW Bus, the Vanagon is also desirable for its drivetrain package. The motor is a more powerful 2.1-liter flat-four. This fuel-injected powerplant will still not win any drag races, but the Vanagon has much more going for it. The motor is mounted low in the body for a low center of gravity, and the weight distribution is quite even. There's also a fully independent suspension and the control of a four-speed manual transmission. So if you've never driven one before, you're going to be surprised at how lively this VW feels on the road. Add in power steering and front disc brakes, and this is quite a nice total driving package for the long haul. Here's the classic vehicle that can take you to the lake one weekend, and then the next weekend a trip to a concert with friends. As with most VW's from this era, the odometer cluster has been replaced. The true mileage is much less than the odometer show, please call for details. Call today!!!
