1986 Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro. 188,000 miles. Rust was repaired with new metal panels welded in except for under the passenger door and slider (see photos) I was going to fix this summer and repaint rockers. All body seams were sandblasted, treated and seam sealed before repaint. New paint last year. Engine was checked for oil pressure and compression by Craigs VW in Colchester, VT and all is good. New alternator was installed last year. New belts. New General Grabber AT2 tires. Wheels were sandblasted and repainted. All brakes are completely new. In the rear new backing plates,shoes, drums, hardware. In the front New rotors, calipers, pads. All brake lines that were rusted were replaced. Has fender well inserts.Yakima roof rack with Thule sport box and basket. New canvas installed on pop up top. On the inside it has all new door panels, Sony CD, radio with 4- 6x9 Sony speakers. New cushions for the seat/bed. Custom rear interior. I have more pics if interested. I was in the process of converting the interior to black. The front is still the original tan interior except for the door panels (see pics) I have many black parts for the dash that will go along to buyer. Front driveshaft has new U Joints and balanced. What it needs.....Windshield, it is cracked and should be replaced but not in the way of driver. Interior to be finished. It starts right up every time and runs great. If you want to finish the interior to all black it will need seats and carpet. Otherwise the seats and carpet are fine. Drivers seat needs arm rest fixed. Needs minor exhaust work. There is a reserve but it is low for this vehicle. I will also accept offers. Buyer must pick up vehicle or arrange for shipping within 7 days of auction end.
