It is VERY RARE as only 5,327 Super Beetle Convertibles were built in 1975 !! We recently purchased this Beetle from the previous older local Idaho owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it is his pride and joy !! It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted VIN tag and the - FACTORY ORIGINAL - front trunk support mounted data plate, both of which are shown in pictures. I drove this car for the last several days as my daily driver and I assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is a sweet driver in town and cruises down the freeway easily and smoothly. If you can make it to Boise please come take a look at and drive this BEAUTY for yourself, you won't be disappointed. This is a QUALITY BUG THAT IS READY TO DRIVE, SHOW AND ENJOY !! At the heart of this Super Beetle is what appears to be the STRONG - FACTORY ORIGINAL - REBUILT - 1600 CC Dual Port Air Cooled 4 cylinder motor that is running VERY well. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL dual port intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL Style rebuilt carburetor and the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing, etc. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - ORIGINAL - four speed manual gearbox / transaxle that also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - MOSTLY ORIGINAL - Beige Tan and Charcoal Vinyl bucket seat interior is in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Beige Tan Vinyl front full bucket seats, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Volkswagen steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Tan and Charcoal Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Charcoal carpets, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Beige Tan Vinyl rear bench seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge cluster, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Beige Tan Vinyl sun visors, NICE ORIGINAL Beige Tan Vinyl headliner and a VERY NICE NEW Black dash cover !! All of the ORIGINAL black rubber weatherstripping is still soft, supple and in GREAT condition for being original. The BEAUTIFUL - Pastel White exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! showing some very small chips and imperfections that have been touched up but still looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the VIDEO & 100+ ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! This Super Beetle comes nicely equipped including factory front wing windows, factory front and rear seat belts, good heater and defroster, original dual stainless steel side view mirrors, factory power wipers, original day / night rear view mirror, an AWESOME JVC digital AM / FM / AUX / USB stereo radio and factory back up lights. This Super Beetle has GREAT looks and SMOOTH 1600 CC power as well... what's not to like ?! The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Volkswagen 4 bolt "Sport" wheels with stainless steel beauty rings wrapped in BRAND NEW steel belted radial tires, they look OUTSTANDING on this Bug and really retains that CLEAN "Factory Original" - look !! All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL Badging, NICE ORIGINAL Chrome rear bumper and a VERY NICE NEW Chrome front bumper. The CLEAN - SOLID front trunk also sports the ORIGINAL charcoal liner, a full size spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack. All of the ORIGINAL STYLE light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! I looked underneath and also included photos below, again this has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho High Mountain Desert - western vehicle and it shows !! In my opinion you're not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL pans / floors than the ones that are on this car !!
