VW bus just restored
1976 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

This is a great example of a VW transporter bus. Just completed a 6 year (longer than I thought) restoration. Windows out, all gaskets replaced PPG high quality paint job to original white and orange. All new interior, headliner and upholstery. Custom, brand new, period correct, basket weave vinyl interior in orange and tan, all new panels and carpet! Looks amazing and better than when new.
Bus runs and drives very well. Numbers matching.

EXTERIOR:
- Bus has new interior and exterior paint, orange and white combination. All windows were removed during painting process to paint the complete interior in white, replacing all the window rubber. New front windshield.
Paint looks great.
- Front floor, wheel arches, rocker panels, cargo floor, windshield area, jack points and even battery tray area are super solid with no signs of rust.
Super straight body with no visible chips or dents.
- Straight front and back bumpers painted in white to match roof section.
- New turn signal lenses and H4 headlights.
- New driver, passenger, middle and hatch door rubber seals.
- New tires with painted white rims and chrome hubcaps.
INTERIOR:
- New front, middle, and rear seat upholstery in orange and brown with new cushion pads.
- New front doors panels with new window cranks.
- New carpets, quality tan carpet with brown stitched edges all around the bus.
- New headliner.
MECHANICAL AND SUSPENSION:
- Excellent running condition, engine and transmission, top end rebuilt recently all receipts and records to include carbs (1000 miles ago). It does smoke a little on startup but once it warms up it does not.
- Dual carburator.
- Good brakes with new lines.
- New electronic ignition, starts up at any time.
- Regular maintenance done recently, oil change, tune up, etc.
ELECTRICAL:
- All electrical is not in working condition, one headlight out, blinkers wipers not working, speedometer and gas gauge need connecting. Radio not working.
- TITLE:
- Clean Arizona title with paid registration and current tags.
THINGS THAT NEED ATTENTION:
No horn, no interior headliner dome lights, no hand grabs,
Steering wheel with cracks and dash, bay door is finicky to close. Have all seat belts but need to be installed, have lots of extra parts too. All electrical is not in working condition, one headlight out, blinkers wipers not working, Speedometer and gas gauge need connecting. Radio not working. I would install new rubber shift bushing, shifts fine but a little sloppy.
Need to add door air ducts.
Overall a beautiful restored VW Bus that looks as good as it drives!
