New battery installed February 2018.
All stock except for custom-built 1900cc engine, blueprinted with counterbalanced roller-bearing crank, light flywheel, BugSpray carburetor, and external spin-on oil filter.
Engine built ca. July 1988 (59,784 miles); vehicle decommissioned ca. 1997.
Engine runs but gas tank is in poor condition (internal rust will need to be cleaned and sealed).
Original gasoline heater is installed.
Floor pans are rusted through and will need to be replaced.
Brake lines will need to be replaced. A disk brake conversion is suggested.
Carburetor will need to be rebuilt.
Includes new (rebuilt) Bosch starter.
Buyer will be responsible for pickup in person. A trailer with winch will be required to move this vehicle. USA only buyers, please.

There has been a typo in the listing: this is actually a 1973 VW Thing (VIN starts with 183, not 184). Please pardon the typo!
Also, the Bosch starter included is new, not rebuilt, and was purchased in 2011.
