1967 VW BEETLE

1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This is an unrestored bug in pretty good shape. It has had some minor bodywork done years ago. It has been in a barn for over 20 years. The engine ran well when stored and it's oil was changed and the interior of the cylinders was sprayed with WD-40 when it was put up.I The motor turns over freely but I haven't tried to start it. The transmission worked well but popped out of reverse on occasion. To get it out of the barn I mounted 4 new radial tires on it, also changed all the front wheel bearings and changed the front wheel bearing seals. The engine is original to the car, he serial number of the engine matches the number written in the original owners manual that comes with the car. In the glovebox are many of the repair orders done to the car over the years starting at mile 897. The seat covers are original equipment, he rear seat back has been sun damaged over the years. The floorpan is in very good shape, ven where the battery goes it's good and solid.
