Up for auction is this super sexy 1971 VW Karmann Ghia~ Desert Beauty~~~ Bought in California new, motor stroked at around 5000 miles from 1835 cc's, stroked to 1900cc's. This was done in the 70s. Dual port, polished cam. Everything else is pretty much untouched. The car has absolutely no accidents, no bondo whatsoever. No rust, only lived in California in Mojave desert and in southern Arizona. Estimated only 10000 miles on this vehicle. :) ~ 3 owners, first a lady who sold to 2nd owner in 70s, 2nd owner sold to his nephew in 2010, clean title. Car was stored since 1979. The car was stored in a garage for the first half of the storage period, and outside in desert under a tarp until nephew acquired the car in 2010. Runs really well. Sounds pretty. The car does have a few minor surface scratches from storage, nothing major. There is a minor brake fluid leak, can be fixed fairly cheaply. All upholstery is original, a few tears on seats in front but back upholstery is nearly perfect especially taking into consideration the age of vehicle.
