Selling an Excellent 1986 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI 4 Speed Manual. I purchased this car in south Mexico and drove it all the way to Illinois last spring without any kind of problem.I legalized the car here in my state and the Secretary of state gave me a Clear Illinois Title after they checked all the papers. Please note the VIN number here its not the one on the title, the reason is be cause the car was imported and ebay does not recognize the VIN but all the numbers match title and car
The speedometer stop working and current mileage reads 201934 but the engine was rebuild just before my long trip or it probably wouldn't be here. The interior is in very good condition with just a couple small wear spots The seats were repaired two years ago, and comes with the material from a complete matching rear seat Black. All the lights are new Head lights and rear lights as well and they are Hella Brand what its pretty much the best brand right now. AC doesn't work at all. The headliner is in excellent shape and the dash has no cracks or blemishes.The car has been repainted with the Fahrenheit VW edition Orange color the job was done last winter and the paint looks great There are no dings or rust spots. The BBS Replicas wheels are new and the tires are new as well. The engine is in excellent running condition and has an after market exhaust. The suspension bushings, and engine mounts are new and were replaced. The timing belt was recently changed and a complete tune up done. .
